Alen Vartanian

Hearing Aid Practitioner

Hi! I’m Alen Vartanian, a Hearing Aid Practitioner at Bow River Hearing.

Shortly before completing my diploma in business, I felt lost about what was next for me. With the help of mentors, I realized that helping people through medical technology would be ideal for me. When I discovered how widespread hearing loss is, and considered what life would be like without the ability to hear, I found myself instantly drawn to helping people bring sound back into their lives.

After completing my diploma in Business Management from Seneca College, I went on to earn an advanced diploma from the Hearing Instrument Specialist program at George Brown College in Toronto. My favourite part of this job is solving problems for people, thinking outside the box to troubleshoot issues they have with their devices.

A few more things about me: I enjoy hiking, exploring nature, trying out new restaurants, learning how to prepare different dishes on my own and coaching soccer. I’m also fluent in Russian!
